1st Day of School 2016

a special lunch surprise.

Our elementary school always starts on a Thursday which I love! Especially this year when Rhett got the stomach bug late Tuesday night/ the morning of the day before the first day of school. :( However, it was very short lived thanks to prayer and oils (all we really need is Jesus and oils) and thankfully no one else got it and he was fine by the first day of school on August 25! 

Rhett got Mrs. Wallace for 1st grade who thought Kindergarten last year. 

Kellyn got Mrs. Simon for 4th grade. This is only her 2nd year to teach at Lakeland.

  And there is me. Up until about 3 years ago I pictured myself going back to work this year, the year my youngest started 1st grade and after I had been a SAHM for 8 years. Turns out the Lord had different plans, better plans, plans I fought and grieved, but look at these precious babies. Maybe I'll go back to work in another 8 years. So glad He is in charge of my life and not me. Sad to send my 2 best helpers back to school today, but happy for them to get a break from us. 😜

So I took our bonus baby and pretty princess to the park on the way home for the 1st Day of School drop off. I'm so glad they have each other.
