We kicked off Kellyn's 5ht birthday week on Monday at her playgroup birthday party at Cedar Elm Park.
This picture cracks me up. We were playing restaurant. This is Rhett's excited face and Kellyn was handing me my order.
Next we move on to Tuesday, Preschool party. I had a Groupon for cupcakes at That's the Cake Bakery in Castle Hills. I picked them up and took them to her class at the end of the day then took her home early.

On Wednesday, October 12, her actual birthday, Mimi treated us to a spa day where Kellyn got her first mani/ pedi.
Then we went straight to Let's Pretend Tea Parties in Grapevine (again I had a Groupon to this place). It was really fun. She got to pick out a dress, crown, wand, shoes, and purse and dress up, get her hair done in a Princess up-do and get her make-up done.
Kellyn loved this purse and wanted to take it home.

She had fun putting sugar cubes in her raspberry tea. And loved the jelly sandwiches with sprinkles!
My mom bought her a new dress with the number 5 on it at the Tea Party Boutique along with a new headband and jewelry. She went way overboard on the gift giving, Kellyn loved it!! When we got back to our house we sang Happy Birthday again and ate the traditional angel food cake my mom made with her homemade strawberry ice cream.
