San Antonio Trip Part 2

The next morning after Sea World we ate breakfast on the River Walk at Zuni's Grill. Kellyn took this picture of us.

We asked for something to feed the ducks and our waiter gave us tortilla chips. Max and Rhett could have fed the ducks all day. They both love it! When they fed the ducks again the next morning Max got so excited.

My parents wanted to take the kids to the Zoo, but they didn't want to go and neither did we on a Saturday. So instead we rode the train outside of the zoo. It was fun and relaxing. The kids were just too worn out from Sea World to walk around a zoo.

Kellyn refused to get a picture with our train conductor. He was a little weird and into himself.

Afterwards we walked across the street to our car and saw this little BBQ place so we decided to eat lunch there. It was not the most kid friendly place, but it was delicious and fun. I ordered the chili dog special of the day and could only eat maybe a quarter of it, but Max however, ate his BBQ sandwich and finished my hotdog! They kids got macaroni and it was by far the best I had ever tasted. And this place had the most gianormous t.v. we had ever seen out on the covered patio. Perfect for watching the Aggie game.

We lost to Arkansas :(

After lunch Dad went to his Veterinary classes and we went back to the hotel to rest and hopefully put the kids down for a nap, but that wasn't happening so we went up to the sky pool.

The pool was freezing cold. Rhett put a toe in and refused to get in so we went to the hot tub, which was not hot, but luke warm. Kellyn, however, jumped right in that freezing cold water and swam around like it was no big deal.

This was our view from the hot tub. Rhett saw the Hard Rock Cafe globe spinning around and said, "Me ride it." So funny.

View of the Alamo from the roof our hotel.

That night we went for a ride on a river boat.

We ate mexican food on the river walk and listened to a Mariachi Band.

The next morning we went to see the Alamo then headed home. I didn't get any pictures there, but you know what it looks like. :)  Again, thank you to my mom and dad for taking us on this fun family vacation. We certainly wouldn't have gone on our own so thanks.
