Kellyn's 1st Commission

As I mentioned earlier, now that Kellyn is 5 we have begun a chore list and "allowance" using Financial Peace Jr. She used her first commission to buy rainbow sherbet ice cream. It was so cute to watch how proud she was handing over her own money to pay for it.

She worked hard all week. The funniest thing was folding laundry. Every time I would be about to show her how to fold something she would correct me and actually do it better. She even prefers her panties be folded and she tucked the tag in on each shirt. Cracked me up, but she was pretty good at it and comes by it naturally from her father. He is a little OCD about how his things are folded too.

She is saving to buy the Little Mermaid Movie on DVD with her cash.

We are so proud of her and pray she becomes a wise spender, a wise saver, a generous giver and lives a debt free life.
