Mustangs and Christian Slater

There are a few things I feel compelled to tell you about myself if you did not grow up with me.

#1 I love Mustangs! My first car was a 1965 Ford Mustang, 289, Mustang white with powder blue pony interior. Her name was Sally hence one of my nick names being Mustang Sally. My 2nd Mustang was a 1996 GT, Moonlight blue. Her name was the Blue Devil. My parents bought her for me in the fall of 1995 (my Senior year) so I would break up with my boyfriend. It worked! But my kids will never have a ridiculously expensive hot rod like that. That is simply not the Davey Ramsey way. Talk about spoiled. I was. I don't know what my parents were thinking unless they were trying to live out their Mustang dreams through me. I'll have to get them to send me pictures of my Mustangs so you can see how awesome they were. My dream car would be a '68 Shelby Fastback and/ or a 1993 Mustang Cobra. But those are just dreams. Where would I put the car seats :)

#2 All my high school friends know that I have had a crush on Christian Slater since I saw him in the 1990 film, Pump Up the Volume and later in the 1992 film, Kuffs. Both of which I think he looks the hottest. I had a notebook filled with pictures of him upon entering college. Then my Junior year at Texas A&M University I met Max...who looked exactly like Christian Slater! I'm not kidding. People would ask him for his autograph. God knew what I liked in a man and he packaged it so beautifully in my hot husband. Not to mention that Max was voted Most Attractive in high school! I love telling people that fact because it makes me feel more attractive that he chose me. :)

Well, the other day I was in the waiting room at my doctor's office reading an old magazine when I came across this little treasure. Of course I ripped it out and stuffed it in my purse then scanned it when I got home. Please take a look at #14. It's the most wonderful thing I've ever read about my hollywood crush who continues to have failed movies and sitcoms. :(   He loves Mustangs just as I do.  :)  This could not be better news! We have so much in common. I just had to blog about it.

Please do not let this deter you from allowing me to be your parent coach. :)
