Christmas in McKinney and Frisco

We didn't open presents with Max's parents until Friday, Dec. 30. This worked out well because when we told Rhett on Monday that Christmas was over he got real quiet then burst out crying. It was so sad that we told him that it was still Christmas and that we were going to open more presents later with Gamy and Popi.

We had pizza then opened presents.

The kids found this exercise ball the most entertaining thing of the night.

Rhett got a remote control 4 wheeler! But Sister and Daddy kind of took it over for a while.

He got it back!

After dinner and gifts we went to the Frisco Square to see the light show and hopefully go in a carriage ride but they weren't running. :(  But the lights were neat and so was the outdoor ice skating rink.

It was cold, but my kids opted for a peppermint snow cone instead of hot chocolate from the pirate ship.

Hey kids, could you get a little closer and look at the camera and act like you are in this family?

Forget the kids, the second picture was worse so I cropped them out. At least Max and I were looking and standing by each other.

We went to Dimples!! My favorite cupcakes of all time even more than Sprinkles.

We ended the night by watching the ice skaters. Kellyn said she wasn't old enough to try ice skating yet, but maybe next year.

Thank you, Rick and Ann, for a fun evening.
