4th of July Part 1: at the Lake

The Patterson's held their annual 4th of July celebration at their lake house this year the weekend before the 4th on June 30 since the 4th fell on a Wednesday.

Thank you, Pinterest, for this cute, patriotic, dessert idea. 

Of course we still have lots of blueberries so I made 2 Blueberry Dream pies. 

1 Graham Cracker Crust

2 bananas

1/2 cup sugar

4 oz. cream cheese

1 (12 oz) Cool Whip

1/4 can blueberry pie filling

1 cup of fresh blueberries 

Cut bananas and lay the bottom of the pie. Set aside.

Mix sugar and cream cheese.  Fold in thawed cool Whip.

Top with fresh blueberries and pie filling.
