I have been on a Pinterest kick lately.
We don't have any storage space in our house, but we do have a huge empty wall in our kitchen right next to the laundry room which is where we enter the house from the garage. I found a bunch of great organization ideas on Pinterest and decided to make them for myself. My mom hired a friend of hers to make the hooks, shelf, and cubby bench. I found the cork boards and dry erase boards at Michaels. My mom gave me some of her old cookie sheets that she didn't use anymore so I could paint them with chalk board paint.

Our version of magnetic, chalkboard cookie sheets. I tried to make sure Rhett's didn't look too girly. They each picked out their favorite black and white ribbon from Hobby Lobby. |

My mom found 2 old cookie sheets for me so I painted them and hung them in the hallway for our chore charts and memory verses. Kellyn has to memorize a verse a week for school and Rhett is using the Truth Cards. |

And last, but not least, I made Lego Trays! |
Oh my goodness! how the Lego mess had gotten out of control at our house. These simple trays and made things better. I ordered these unfinished
wooden trays on amazon.com, painted them white, and glued Lego plates in the bottom with liquid nails. I cut the blue Lego plate with scissors. It was easier than I thought.

And now we can travel with our Lego creations. |
