Valentine's Day stuff

We decided to celebrate the big Day 'O Love on Saturday instead of Monday so my parents to keep the kids over night. First Max gave me gorgeous red roses.

Then we went to dinner at Maggiano's in Dallas at North Park.  We went to an early dinner so afterwards we went shopping!!!  He knows my love language so well :)  Then we went to the movies and saw Just Got With It. Max and I both thought it was hilarious.

The next day, Sunday, we got up early for church even though the kids were not there so we could hear Pastor Pete's "Marriage Talk," Exposing The Lies About Marriage.  After church my parents brought the kids home just in time for nap. They were worn out and both took naps and so did we. Kellyn rarely takes a nap so they must have been really tired for her fall asleep. After nap time we surprised them a day early with their Valentine's presents, just a few new books and a little car and cup for Rhett and glitter shoes and a cup for Kellyn. But the biggest hit was the talking Snoopy card we gave them. They kept opening and listening to the thing over and over. Afterwards, Max had to meet a guy in Dallas to buy some cycling shoes so we went with him so we could go to White Rock Lake park. We told her we were going to the park so she ran to put this outfit on with her new glitter shoes.

After bath time Kellyn and I put the finishing touches on her Valentine's.

She picked out her own outfit for the bounce house party, glitter skirt, glitter shoes and all.

Rhett stayed home with my mom while we went to Kellyn's playgroup party since he wouldn't be able to bounce in a cast :(

as soon as we got home Kellyn dumped out her box of goodies and shared some with Rhett without me even saying anything. She is such a sweet big sister.

When we got back my mom offered to take us out to lunch so we went to Chic-fil-a with the outdoor play area. As soon as we walked in the door we saw our friends the Fricke's. We had just had a play date at their house last Monday and here we are playing with them again this Monday. Kellyn was so surprised and excited to get to play with her friend Lauren again!
