"Camping"

Last year we started a tradition of camping in our backyard. We did it the first weekend of October last year, but this year we will be in Sea World that weekend so we did it a week early. 

Everyone helped set up the tent.

I had been waiting for the perfect opportunity to grill pizza for the first time. This was it!

Next time I will make the dough a little thinner and sprinkler a little more cheese on top, but other than that it was surprisingly good for my first grilled pizza. 

For dessert Max had the fabulous idea of making Smores. It was his good idea (since we didn't have a bonfire) to grill the marshmellows and my idea (since we didn't have any chocolate) to spread Nutella on the Graham Crackers. Sooooooo goooood!!

We ate our dessert outside in the tent. 

Then Max read the kids a few bedtime books. 

Lights out and good night. Ha! 

Max said he laid down and feel asleep while the kids sang him songs like, Rock a bye Baby, Jesus Loves Me and Twinkle Little Star and brushed his hair. Finally, at around 9:30 he made Rhett come in and go to sleep in his crib then went back to get Kellyn and she was in her own bed by 10. They had fun though.
