Fairy Tale Castles at the Dallas Arboretum

Since I first heard about the Fairy Tale Castles being at the Arboretum back in March I've been wanting to take Kellyn, but we never could make it down there for some reason. Then when I was scheduling Rhett's 2 year pictures with my photographer friend, Laura, I decided to kill 2 birds with one stone and get his pics taken there then take Kellyn to see the castles afterwards, especially since Laura could get us in for FREE! So I decided to wait a little longer on the castles. 

What a strange face. She just sat down in the grass right when we got there so I snapped her picture. She insisted on wearing her Rosetta costume to Rhett's photo shoot. She said she should dress like a fairy to see fairy tale castles.  

I think this picture is so funny because he looks like a typical man looking at flowers, not at all that impressed. I feel like he is thinking, "Yep, those are flowers. Maybe I could stomp on them or throw them or eat them or something."

After Rhett's nearly 2 hour photo shoot we went to see the castles!

Rhett was terrified of the giant rabbit. He kept making the sign for bunny then shaking his head No even when we got home and the next day he was still doing it.

Kellyn was trying to touch Rapunzel's hair. 

It was a fun day. But so super dee dooper HOT especially for the 1st day of June! We were sweating so bad by this time, 11:30 am. The kids were fading on me and getting whining. We rushed back to our air conditioned car.
