Jammin' July

What else have we done this HOT, miserably hot, July to the beat the heat besides all the fun things I've already posted about? Well,

We painted with sidewalk paint (which is still there a month later because it has not rained to wash it away)! So fun. Everyone should get some of this stuff.

We celebrated Lila's 1st birthday at our park. Her grandmother made the most adorable Little Bo Peep cake and her mom made the cutest little cookie sheep. Her big brother is in Kellyn's preschool class.

Max got some new sunglasses. Still not sure about them.

We played on the water slide in the backyard.

Kellyn made Rhett a sandwich all by herself with the strawberry jam she made in her cooking class. So sweet.

Kellyn "styled" Rhett's hair. She was very proud of her work. She said, "I made him look handsome and not like a girl."

We went to The Ark at First Baptist in Coppell with Rhett's playgroup. Kellyn loved the huge 3 story slide while Rhett enjoy the little kid play area.

Mom grilled corn on the cob for the first time and the kids ate it!

Kellyn took Ms. Jill's Cooking Class at the Rec Center.

We bought this fun blow up pool from the Christmas Tree Shop for only $18.
