Rat Sitting

We had so much fun rat sitting for our friends, The Whittles, for 10 days.

When Kellyn would hold the rats she would say things like, "Don't worry My Darlin'...." or "I'll hold you Sweetie Pie."   Rhett on the other hand would just yell their names as best he could, "Olly" for Holly and "E.E." for C.C.

The funniest thing is that the very night I took these pictures of Max one rat got out and climbed up the bed and onto Max at midnight. Surprisingly he did not freak out which he attributed to having had the rats crawl on him a few hours earlier. She had chewed a hole in the bottom of her cage. We patched it up and went back to bed. Otherwise, they did great.
