I surprised Max with a Ranger's pumpkin. This was before the loss.
It was more intricate than I thought and my hand hurt when I was finally done.
We decided not to carve any more pumpkins after that. So Kellyn got out some of my old pins and her craft jewels and asked for my help with glue gun.

And in the spirit of this months' parenting newsletter on gratitude we used buttons to make a Thank You pumpkin.
We also used a pumpkin as a planter and planted some pretty flowers in it. Aldi had pumpkins for only $2.99 no matter how large and they were all very big.
