Monday the 5th was our first freeze. It doesn't normal get this cold this early in the year, but it did this year. After an abnormally long, hot summer we are now having an early winter. Anyways, on Monday I took Kellyn to get her evaluation at the school we are sending her to next year for Kindergarten. While my mom took Rhett to her house. The test took about 35 minutes then they came out and went over the results with me. She scored really well on everything, but the funniest thing was her verbal language ranking. At the time of the test she was 5 years and 1 month old. Her verbal language was ranked as a 6 year and 10 months old. Haha! No surprise there! It was just funny to see it in black and white in front of me. At her 2 year old well check her pediatrician told me she was advanced verbally. I didn't quite understand what that meant, but over the years I have quickly figured it out!
Anyways, after that, we went out to my mom's house for lunch and decorate her tree.

My parents bought a Snoopy blowup for the front yard, but it kept blowing away in the fridged wind thye had to bring it in. And that dog Rhett is sitting on was mine when I was his age.
We made hot chocolate to help us warm up. Rhett insisted on making his own. And yes, he is wearing pajamas in the middle of the day. He didn't want to put regular clothes on and since he was only going to my mom's house I just let him stay in them. But the funny thing is that he didn't sleep in these pajamas. After he went potty that morning he wanted to change not into regular clothes, but into different footed pajamas. Oh well, they are probably the warmed thing he could wear on this cold day anyways.
Drinking hot chocolate out of a Santa mug at Mimi's house in his pajamas. Doesn't get more cozier than that.
