It really isn't that different of a week for us considering Kellyn only goes to preschool 2 days a week and Rhett doesn't go at all, but all our friends are off!
On Monday we went to hang out with some of my teacher friends and their kids.
We went home with this basketball net. My friend, Robin's, son is in junior high and now has a regular size tall net so she surprised us by giving us his old one!
I made what I call fudge pops. I got the idea off pinterest. It is listed as peanut butter, chocolate, banana ice cream. I just added sprinkles and kale to it then put it in freeze pops.
Every since Rhett got his lime green shoes he has been running everywhere. He says they make him run faster.
I could not have been more thrilled to find that Rhett had snuck into his big sister's room and was listening to her books on CD. I didn't even know he knew how to work the CD player.
On Tuesday my mom took the kids so I could go get a CT scan of my sinuses. She offered to keep them for the whole day! so I could runs some errands and go grocery shopping and what not. It was great and so helpful. I even got everything done for Kellyn's class Easter party!
On Wednesday we had a play date at our house with the Paterson kids and the Wardlaw kids. I have known their moms since junior high. Of course the girls wanted to do a craft and the boys just went along with it. Then we all went to the park and had lunch there.
After nap time the kids decided to play in the backyard with mud. They are constantly making mud pies. :)
I went for a run that evening while Max and the kids played in the front yard. They were able to stay out and play later thanks to daylight savings time. Isn't that just the sweetest picture of them.
On Thursday we had a play date at the Wimberley's house!
This picture of them playing Headbandz just cracks me up.
