After all the rain we had on Easter Sunday, mushrooms began to pop up in our yard on Monday, yuck! But isn't it funny how Instagram can make them look cute. :)
I love catching pics of them playing nicely together. Here they are using team work to load sand into a tractor. I always refer to us as team members and it's fun to hear them now say it too. You will hear things like this around our house or out in public: "You are on the Dixon team and you need to behave in a way that makes your teammates proud of you." "Remember we are a team and teammates help each other." "Don't run off and leave a teammate behind."
They got so muddy and dirty outside playing together that I had rinse them off in the bathtub. I wanted to make it fun since they weren't taking a full bath so I mixed up some shaving cream and food coloring to make bath paint, thank you once again, pinterest.
Last week Max found himself playing tennis in the street with a neighbor.
a spectator of street tennis. :)
I love that my day is different everyday and the unexpected is inevitable. Sometimes we have things planned and sometimes we just wait to see what we come up with. I know these days are fleeting and soon my day will be stringent routine, but for now....we play and see what God brings our way.
Last Wednesday we went to feed the ducks after story time at the library. It was so hot!
Kellyn said she just loves these flowers!
Last Thursday was our anniversary and I didn't want to cook so we used a Groupon I had to Texas Roadhouse and went out to dinner with my parents and Maw-maw. We ran into Mr. and Mrs. Lee and Robyn Gleghorn's parents. So funny seeing them there. What a great week!
