Photographing a Superhero

I am not a photographer, but I love taking pictures! I love being creative and catching the right angle and the perfect lighting. I love catching real life in action and people's real smiles as they truly enjoy life. It doesn't have to be my kids. It could be anyone. It just so happen that I have access to photographing my kids on a daily basis so they tend to be the subject of all my photographic session. :)

One chilly morning a super hero ran out to save the day or just explore a puddle.
Either way I grabbed my camera.

He wanted to see if his monster truck could drive through the water.

And then the money shot!

I love this picture so much, the angle, the light, the reflection, the fade, everything!
Thank you instagram for making it even better.

Shortly after he ran through the water. :)
Having a boy is so fun, more than I imagined. He just says and does the craziest things. Like today for example, he told us that he has 2 days off of work. (Kellyn has 2 days off for MLK day) What is his work, you ask. "Catching bad guys and taking them to the police." He also tells us things like, "I can't help that I toot because I have a lot of gas" and "I'm trying to toot on you but I can't squeeze the gas out." Yes, boys are gross, but somehow so cute at the same time. Now he wants me to "smash up crickets and put them in icing for my frog's birthday." Yes, we have a pet frog in our house. Why? Because we have a 3 year old boy in our house.
