I had taken this sweet pic of Kellyn and my cousin's daughter on the tire swing at my grandmother's house and wanted to play with the light again.
So after dinner last Monday night we took the kids to play in a patch of bluebonnets in Carrollton.
I love this one so much.
They just played with such unbridled joy in that little patch of bluebonnets. They were so tall and full that it seems like they were jumping waves in the ocean as they tried to walk in them. Rhett kept falling down and laughing. It was great.
Max thinks there is too much sun in this one, but I like it.
I took a picture of my brother similar to this one of Rhett.
And here it is. That's my bro in his element. His cow pasture in Loving, Tx.
I love this one too!
They were playing and both running and playing and fell down laughing. I was just snapping away as Rhett tossed his hat in the air. So cute and country and Texan and just perfect in bluebonnets. :)
I have one of her just like this when she was only 6 months old and now she is 6 1/2 years old!
And here is a good example of birth order personalities. :)
I just love bluebonnets. They are beautiful! They could pop up at the end of March or the middle of April, but once they do the clock starts tickin'. They only last 3 maybe 4 weeks at the most. It's what makes Texas so special unique...among other things. :)
