Birthday pancakes!
So we didn't have Kellyn's on her actual birthday because my cousin's daughter, Jordan, invited us to join her team for the Best Buddies Walk at White Rock Lake in Dallas.
Luckily an ice cream truck came by during our walk.
They really did walk the whole way! Hooray! And it was HOT!
When we returned home from the walk Kellyn opened birthday presents, one of which was a Rainbow Loom! and Bella Ballerina shoes. :)
That same night Rhett and I went to the Mother/Son Monster Mash so Max took Kellyn on a special birthday dinner and movie date. They went to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2.
On Monday, Columbus Day, Kellyn had the day off from school and wanted to go to the American Girl Doll store to get her baby's head fixed. It had lots of white scuff marks on it's head. Turned out they couldn't fix that in the store and had to send the baby off to the "hospital." Before she left they put her in a hospital gown and we said our good bye's. They said she would arrive home from the hospital on our front doorstep in 2 to 3 weeks.
Then we met my parents and my brother for lunch where, Uncle Jacob, gave Kellyn a pink bow and arrow set.
All in all a pretty fun birthday weekend.
