Baby Sprinkle!

My sweet friends Dedra and Amy threw me a Baby Sprinkle!
What a blessing it was too considering this is our third baby and I had gotten rid of nearly all of our baby things. So grateful for these precious ladies for wanting to celebrate the life of our third child and help us prepare for him.

The Big Sister and the Granmas, Ann and Carol.

Me, Maw-maw, my mom, and Kellyn.

I used to teach at Degan Elementary in LISD with each of these ladies.
Kelly is the only still there. Ann, Gina and I all stay home and Amy is in an educational facilitator in C/FBISD. (I used to keep Amy's baby, Lauren)

Oh, Ceclie, how I love her! She is holding her 5th child!! What a great mom she is. We talk for hours and hours whenever we get together. She used to go to our church and be in Life Group with us.

Mingling at Mimi's Cafe.

This is my friend, Jennifer, and her 8 month old, Clacie. Jennifer wants to be doula one day and going to practice on me! Yes, I'm planning on having natural childbirth this time. :(  But Jennifer has done it 3 times, twice at a birthing center, and will help me through it. Plus I hear the 3rd one comes quickly, fingers crossed.

All of these big sisters are the oldest of 3!

Guessing his name!

We started not telling the name when I was pregnant with Kellyn. Since it was an unusual name I didn't want to be talked out of it plus we already told the gender so we thought it would be fun to keep something a surprise. Then we did it again with Rhett and now this one. We always tell the initials. It's fun to see what people guess then to hear their shock and surprise when we announce it. No one ever guessed Kellyn and no one ever guessed Rhett. This time we are going to let the kids announce the baby's name when he arrives.

Time to open presents!

I love being organized and this will organize the stroller. I can't believe we are starting over and will be using a stroller again!

How cute is this little tie and suspenders onesie.

I love how Amy caught my initial reaction to getting my diaper. My face cracks me up. I was just so shocked and excited that my friend, Robin, not only bought my diaper bag, but also filled it with diapers, wipes, pacifiers, butt paste and more. How generous!

And we end with the pregnant ladies. This is not the first time Gina and I have been pregnant together. Her daughter Charlotte and Rhett are 11 days apart and now these 2 boys will be even closer! Gina is scheduled to be induced on January 30 and my due date is February 7, but I think I will be go into labor on Super Bowl weekend which is February 2 which is her 2nd born's 2nd birthday! Plus we will both have a girl then 2 boys. Although hers are much closer in age than mine.

So fun! Feeling so blessed and overwhelmed with gratitude.
I have such wonderful friends who "sprinkled" us beyond measure. What a blessing to have so many friends want to celebrate the life of our 3rd born with us. Kellyn is exceptionally excited and anxious for her baby brother to get here. After the shower I put all the bags of gifts in the nursery to go through during the week, but Kellyn spent half of the next day putting everything away, organizing the nursery, and folding the gift bags. It looks great and I didn't have to lift a finger. What a blessing and big help she is.
