Every since Kellyn was 2 my parents have been hosting a trick or treating party at the veterinary clinic. Keep in mind I was never allowed to go trick or treating except 1 time after which we went back to the vet clinic to x-ray our candy.
This year our family of 6 decided, much like everyone else, to go as Star Wars. I was princess Leia, Max was Luke Skywalker, Kellyn was a girl storm trooper, Rhett was a shock trooper, Bo was Chewbacca, and Priscilla was a baby girl R2D2.
Annual trick or treating at my dad's vet clinic.
Bo got scared by the boy in the scary mask. He was not amused.
My dad was Uncle Si from Duck Dynasty. He looked awesome!
Handing out candy in the exam rooms.
Maw-maw and Bo in the receptionist area.
Both babies fell asleep on the 6 minute drive home from the clinic party. :)
Our first time trick or treating in our new neighborhood!
My dad went with us to help manage Bo while my mom and grandmother stayed back at the house to pass out candy.
My cousin's daughter, Jordan, came with us too! She did a great job pushing Bo door to door on his little bike.
I love our new neighborhood. We never trick or treated when I was a kid growing up, but it is such a great way to get to know your neighbors. We met so many nice people and even set up a few playdates for the kids...including Bo!
2015
Chewbacca holding R2D2. Bo is 21 months old. Priscilla is 6 weeks old.
2009
Kellyn had just turned 3. Rhett was 4 1/2 months old. They were a sunflower and a bumble bee. I cannot believe we refer to these 2 as "the big kids" now.
I feel like my life is in reverse, like I've already done all this and am now doing it all over again. So here we go with round 2.
Kellyn and Rhett's 1st Halloween together, 2009. Bo and Priscilla's 1st Halloween together, 2015. Kellyn was Fancy Nancy for her preschool parade of costumes. She was a diva even then.
