Mother Day/ Smother's Day 2016

My birthday fell on Mother's Day this year!
So they had to take as many pictures as I wanted!
Look at this handsome guy. Isn't he just the cutest 2 year old you have ever seen!
My big kids and once thought to be my only kids. Ha!
They wanted to do a silly picture. :)
Then we got one with my top 3 and Rhett was actually smiling!
Precious Princess Priscilla. Our baby finale.
Group shot with Mommy. To bad Bo was crying while Rhett had a great smile.

After church and naps we went to my parent's house for Mother'sDay/ Birthday dinner.
I love this sweet pic of Maw-maw with her 11th great grandchild.
My mom made me the traditional angel food cake for my birthday.
Bo wanted to help me blow out the candles. He had his plate ready for his slice of cake.

Max arranged for us to have dinner with friends the night before my birthday. It was so great. We ate out on the patio at Fresco's near the band with sangrias while my awesome parents kept all 4 kids! Then he showered me with gifts today! He really nailed it this year on my Mother's Day/Birthday! Thanks, Babe. And my dad took few cute pics of me and Priscilla on our first Mother's Day together.
Priscilla grabbed a handful of cake before I could stop her. So much for no sugar until her first birthday. #4thbaby.

Happy Mother's Day/ Smother's Day! People ask me how I do it with 4 kids and the answer is I moved closer to my mommy. My mother, Carol Jones Shaffer, has been my biggest fan and supporter from day 1 and now she helps me raise these 4 cuties. She gives me the breaks I need to go grocery shopping alone or just get away to recoup. She is priceless and such a fun Mimi to our children. My grandmother, Doris Ruth, did our laundry for the first 3 months Priscilla's life thank God. She said she loved doing laundry and Max loved her doing it because she ironed all of it! (something I do not do) And then there is my precious 1st born, the one who made me a mommy, Kellyn Ruth, she is an amazing big sister who loves on her baby siblings so much. She is an invaluable part of our family and I absolutely love her to pieces and couldn't do it with out her. I may be overwhelmed and exhausted every single day, but I am truly blessed!

At the end of the day while we were relaxing my dad took some sweet pics of Priscilla and I on our first Mother's Day together.
She LOVES balloons.
Big blue eyes about to crawl.

She LOVES her toes.

When we got home that evening we found that one of Rhett's butterflies had just hatched a day early! It's a Mother's Day miracle!
