On Friday, June 17, I made Max take the day off of work so he could help me take all 4 kids to the beach! A beach in north Texas! A beach at a lake! That's right I was crazy enough to want to take all 4 kids to a body of water!

We had a great time at the "beach." It was closest thing we have to beach here, but it was great. Real sand had been brought in and made a lovely sandy beach out in Little Elm, Texas. We got there at 9:30 a.m. and Priscilla lasted a good long time, but finally had to nap on me while the big kids swam and Bo and our friend, Lauren, caught time minnows with his net!
Thank you, Max, for going with us. We can check it off our summer bucket list now!
While we were there a local radio show was holding their annual Ticket Stock. They had games and food trucks. The kids loved it all.
We ended up at the park near the ice cream and hotdog food truck where we met a lovely couple who had 3 kids. They had a baby girl with them and the mom asked how old our baby girl was. Turned out our baby girls are exactly 1 day apart! We started talking about how we both just moved last summer then had a baby and went on lock down. The couple are both Aggies just like us! And the husband is a physical therapist just like mine! The wife asked for my number and we set up a playdate a few weeks later! Crazy small world.
