Tots Science Kit

We got our science kit that I ordered from Time For Tots on Etsy a.k.a. Activity Mom's Blog in the mail on Monday just in time for the start of Spring Break. I love it because we get a bag full of activities and all the supplies needed for each game or project are included. Both kids love it! I also ordered a preschool kit and an Easter theme kit.

Rhett loved learning 1:1 concept with by picking up tiny animals with tongs and placing 1 in each ice cube tray well. He did way better with the tongs than I ever expected he would. It took him a few tries to get it down, but he wouldn't give up and just use his hands. He is a very determined little boy. Then we switched sides and used the other hand and he did great again.

Eye Dropper Fun

Kellyn practices filling an eye dropper with water
and transferring it to the tiny wells in a small bath mat.
She loved doing it!

Rhett wanted to play with red water too so
I let him spray it on white butcher paper.

Rhett loves spraying things so we experimented with baking soda and vinegar. I sprinkled baking soda on the table and let him spray it with vinegar so he could make bubbles. This served a dual purpose as a science experiment and cleaning the table. Rhett also likes to clean so he really enjoyed wiping as well.
The kids also liked experimenting with magnets, learning about transparency, the sink or float game, Blow Me Away, The Sunflower game and Whether the Weather. Such a fun kit!
