Easter Crafts

Crayon Easter Eggs -
shaved crayons sprinkled over hot eggs fresh off the stove. As you sprinkle the crayon chips on top of the hot eggs they begin to melt and run down and cover the entire egg.
The kids loved this more than painting the eggs. Kellyn wanted pink and purple and I gave Rhett yellow and orange.

Then we went outside to paint our eggs using a kit we bought. Kellyn only painted 2 eggs and Rhett tore his appart and pretended to cook them in a bowl.

So Rhett cooked and Kellyn painted
 Crayon Crosses -
Supplies: about 3 shaved crayons per cross, wax paper, construction paper and iron

lay construction paper on the floor or table, put wax paper on top of that
then sprinkle your crayons on half of the wax paper.

Fold the other half of the wax paper over on top of the crayon shaving, place a piece of construction paper on top of the wax paper then iron on dry heat until shaving are melted.

Cut out the shape of a cross and hang in window.
