On Friday, June 3, we met some friends at the Josey Ranch Library for Digger Day to "Explore a variety of giant, hard-working “digger” vehicles that have exciting experiences all over the City every day." I thought Rhett would enjoy this seeing as how he loves to look at the tractors doing construction behind our house and how he is always pointing out garbage trucks and buses to us in the car. But it was HOT! I think Kellyn enjoyed more than he did. She had fun in the dirt while he pointed to all the vehicles and wanted to get close to see them, but did not want to sit in or on them.

Rhett just hangin' in the stroller. He didn't like all the loud noses. |
We got a demonstration of how this big tractor digs the dirt and dumps it in the truck.
My first act as a mom of a 2 year old boy...going to see trucks and tractors.

Then the truck dumped the dirt back out. |
After about 35 minutes of the heat and both kids turning bright red and sweating we left to meet some other friends at Chic-fil-A.
