Pray for Baby Lauren

Sunday was our last day at the property. It was just as freezing cold, but with a little less wind and more sunshine. We left at noon and as soon as we got home Rhett went down for a long nap. Oh, but before we got home he said he had to go potty so we had to pull over in an empty parking lot. I got the little potty out and set it on the ground, but he said he wanted to try peeing standing up this time. It was so cold! He did it! He peed standing up for the first time somewhere outside of Decatur and has been doing it that way every since. :)

On the way home a another message from Jason, baby Lauren's Daddy, about her trouble breathing. Amy had texted me on Saturday about how baby Lauren has been stopping breathing occasionally. They put her on antibiotics and otherwise she is fine and healthy, but she can't remember to breathe so she will be in the hospital until next Saturday. I can't imagine how hard it would be to go home without your baby. My heart breaks for them as 1st time parents dealing with this. Please pray for a speedy and miraculous healing of Lauren Marie and for wisdom and guidance for the doctors and nurses. I talked to Amy on Sunday night and Lauren is doing better. She isn't really sick. They just can't figure out what the problem is. The only thing the doctors can guess is that maybe her brain is still learning to send the messages to her body to keep breathing because later she had the opposite problem, very rapid breathing. So they have to keep her in the hospital for 5 days after her last episode and she has been good all day! Praise God! Amy was discharged today, but they will let her stay in the hospital 2 more days but then she will have to go home without her baby :(  I could not even imagine that. That would be the hardest thing to ever have to do. But it should only be for a few short days and maybe they will be able to get some rest before she comes home. I just pray that she amazes the doctors and begins to breathe normally for no explainable reason. God will perform a miracle in this little girl and all glory will be given to Him.
