Early Black Friday morning my friend, Amy, headed to the hospital for a scheduled induction due to high blood pressure to have her baby girl. So I dubbed it PINK Friday. They weren't telling the name so we were looking forward all day to finding out who this precious baby girl is.
But while the LeMaster's were busy in Labor and Deliver we were at home painting and cooking :)
Rhett loves painting outside on the little easel, but it was cold so he wanted to put on his footed pajamas. I'm not sure why he put on his work goggles. :) Then he came in to help me make breakfast bread. Getting to lick the beater is a perk to helping the cook.
When Daddy got done with work he came home and packed and we all headed to my parent's property in Loving, Tx. for the weekend. We arrived at the trailer at 6:00 p.m., ate dinner, watched football then went to bed.
I kept checking my phone for text messages from Jason and Amy's progress. Finally I got at text at 8:30 that said baby Lauren Marie had arrived at 8:06 p.m. weighing in at 6 lbs. 6 oz., 18 inches long. I will be nanny to Lauren Marie LeMaster this spring when Amy goes back to work from her maternity leave. She works for C/FBISD. So we will have baby Lauren in our home 5 days a week from January 19 until June 1! We are so excited for the LeMaster Family!
