My dad came by to hand deliver chocolate covered strawberries!
I got the spend the entire morning with this cute Valentine cowboy!
Then I went to Kellyn's Valentine party in the afternoon. She made a haul of candy!
In addition to the box of princess valentines Kellyn also made these and just slipped the little princess cards inside them. I love them because it is tracing paper. She traced all the words! She made 10 of these and loved doing it. We first tried these out at Christmas time and she loved them so much that she asked me to order Valentine ones. The are called Letter Learning Cards and I first heard about them from a Living Social Deal. I have since used that deal and continue to buy more and more. Kellyn loves writing letters to her friends, but struggles to spell all the words sometimes and gets frustrated when she makes a letter wrong. This way she can get some writing practice in while writing her friends nice little letters. Plus I love that there is a big space that says, "Here is a Valentine's Picture for you" because she loves drawing pictures for her friends as well. Win, win!
It was such a nice afternoon that we decided to do what we do best outside....

For dinner we ordered from Outback Steakhouse. Max went to pick it up. We all ate at the dinning room which we never do. Kellyn made cards for each of us. It was fun, but Max is taking me out on Thursday night to really celebrate this Halmark holiday.
