A Good Storm = Good Mud

All day Monday it was windy. I mean mega windy. The kids thought a tornado was coming. The forecast called for rain all day, but it never rained until night fall. But around 5:30 we were outside in the gusty wind and dark clouds when all of a sudden a super strong gust blew us back and all of a sudden it was cold. We went back inside and about 30 minutes later is was pouring rain.

While we were waiting for Daddy to come home Rhett asked me to turn on some songs so he could dance. He cracks me up.

Lots of lightning and thunder all night long. I didn't sleep well, but the kids never woke up. It didn't stop raining until late Tuesday morning. But then the sun came out and it warmed right up. This meant lots of puddles, lots of mud, lots of worms, and lots fun playing in all of it!
This is a mud house for worms. It think it's funny that she keeps her ring on while playing in mud and holding worms :)

We continued the mud-fun on Wednesday. All this mud and sunshine has certainly made it easy to get our 15 minutes a day
