Aggie Muster 2012

“If there is an A&M man in one-hundred miles of you, you are expected to get together, eat a little, and live over the days you spent at the A&M College of Texas.”

"The Muster ceremony symbolizes the essence of the Aggie Spirit: commitment to our nation, state, school, but most of all, to one another, to mankind. It is a commitment to service. Muster is a celebration of life, of love, a ritual that affirms to us and demonstrates to all there is no end to Texas A&M's maroon line." -Jack M. Rains '60

Our friends, Drew and Mandy Whittle, brought us back some Aggie Blush Wine! We saved it for Muster.
First of all, Max had to work in Allen that day. :(  But when we he was done we met him at his friend, Cooper's, house in McKinney for a play date. This had nothing to do with Muster. We just all had this time available to finally get together.

We made 2 cobblers, one for the get together with Cooper and one for Muster with our neighbors. I call it the Easy Pinterest Cobbler. It is just 2 frozen bags of berries, 1 box of cake mix, and 1 bottle of Sprite Zero then bake. Thats it and it was good.

Rhett loved wearing his new Spiderman swimsuit for the first time.

Max took this silly picture of me drinking wine in my Aggie dress. I love my hair like this by the way :)

We got home at about 7:00 then went right next door to our Aggie neighbor's house for Muster.

Former Students doing Muster together.
We ate delicious fried catfish, cornbread, hushpuppies, coleslaw, sweet tea and Aggie wine. It was so fun and so good. We plan to do it again next April 21.

Our neighbor, Scott, was in the Corps of Cadets so we got a picture of Rhett next to his boots. They come up past his waste. Hard to believe he will be able to wear them one day ;)
