I didn't mean to post something for every single day, but this was so big and so exciting. I know the Catholics have the Triduum, the 3 days before Easter, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday. We didn't do any Catholic like things on Saturday, but it was a good one. We had such a relaxing, low key, nothing planned, kind of day. I made special pancakes. I kept reading on facebook how so many of my friends had t-ball games and such. So blessed we chose to not get involved in sports too young and could just be together as a family.
I got my hair cut 2 1/2 inches and highlighted which to a girl is a big day.
We painted doilies.
I folded the doilies into crosses.
We ate carrots from our garden!
We shared some of our smaller carrots with some baby bunnies we found in our yard.
We got messy painting eggs.
So we busted out the slip n slide once again to get cleaned off. The kids picked me some mint for my iced tea. They are so sweet and know what Mommy likes :)
We went out to dinner as a family then on the way home we stopped at the lake by Kellyn's preschool to sit and read about the next Resurrection Egg, the stone.
Such a nice day.
