Snow and ICE

Temperatures dropped last week and we even got a light dusting of snow!

Kellyn's first report for school.
Each student had to choose a state to report on and she chose Hawaii.
It was so hard not help and correct!

Cold enough to wear the scarf my friend Kelly made! She made the purse to and gave Kellyn these gloves as an extra little gift. 

In sticking with the theme of the freezing cold temperatures outside we decided to go to ICE at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine.

The theme this year was "Merry Madagascar." 

Rhett went down the ice slide. Kellyn didn't go down it when she was 2 and didn't go when she was 6 now either. 

Always so amazing how they can carve such beautiful and detailed creations out of ice.
