Ahhh, December is so fun! So many fun things to do and see. We began this first weekend in Carrollton and ended it in McKinney. We went to Carrollton's Christmas on the Square in downtown Carrollton. We ate lunch at Sid's Rainbow Fountain and Grill that my mom always tells me used to be a pharmacy when she was growing up in Carrollton. It was so delicious.
Then we hit the slopes! Kind of. They had an ice slide there.
Rhett insisted on wearing his elf pajamas. Someone even came up to him and asked to take his picture. He loves the attention.
Yes, Max is wearing shorts and Kellyn is wearing a sleeves shirt. It was 82 degrees!
That's how we do Christmas in Texas.
December 1 is also Rhett's Half birthday! We celebrated all day ;)
That night we headed to McKinney with Max's friend, Cooper, and his daughter, Haley, to the Christmas Parade!
Kellyn worked it in the parade! They were all screaming and had jingle bells on their wrists. But Kellyn was workin' the crowd and waved and yelled Merry Christmas as if she were Miss America. It was so funny to watch.
Max's parents have a limited edition Thunderbird and entered it in the parade. My kids rode in it in the 4th of July parade earlier, but this was Haley's firs time. They all seemed to enjoy it.
All in all I think Rhett had a fabulous Half birthday! :)
And I learned just what a showman my daughter is.
