Print Your Instagram Pictures!

Hi, my name is, Kristy, and I'm addicted to Instagram.
But I love my latest project!
A new couch meant new pillows and a new picture above the new couch. :) But I didn't want to buy a new picture because I take a million pictures and need something to force me to print them. This framed, covered cork board was just the thing.
I have been using Instagram for over a year now and finally got around to printing some of those oddly shaped yet adorably, trendy looking 4x4's.

Hobby Lobby had some huge frames on sale for 65% off which is what gave me the idea. Then when I found a sheet of cork board that fit in it perfectly all I needed was a cute fabric. It's called duck fabric and it feels almost like upholstery. I instantly fell in love with it and had to have it when I saw the mustard yellow and off white chevron pattern. Evidently everyone else loved it too because I got the last yard of it!

You can't see it in the picture, but I hot glued some of these shaby chic gems on top of the pushpins.

I also made this to display even more instagram pictures.
I love it! We hung it on our long empty wall in the kitchen and it looks great (at least to me anyways). This was another one of those large fames on sale with no glass. I used the nail gun to staple jute rope across the back then tiny clothes pins to hang my pics.

I store my instagram pictures in a 12x12 album using  4x4 photo page protectors.

Not many places print square pictures and if they do they are too expensive. I watched a video on how to put 9 of your square pics into a 12x12 collage picture then upload it to CostCo and order them cheaper that way, but even then some of your pics are cut off a little and you still have to cut them apart and I didn't want to take the time to build a collage. I just wanted to order individual pictures easily. I ordered my pictures through the app Postal Pix. I think they were 29 cents a picture for 4x4's which was cheaper than Printstagram and Walgreens (only a select few Walgreens print square pics) plus I got 20% off after searching for a promo code. And I like how you can just order directly off the pics in your camera roll too, BOOM and DONE! Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy! I even ordered and mailed some pics directly to my grandmother in El Paso all on my phone.

  1. LOVE the chevron...that's the exact fabric I have in my classroom. It's fun to see all your Pinterest projects. You win the award for actually doing the most Pinterest projects :)
