We drove to Austin on Thursday, July 4, to visit my friends, Mike and Sarah and their boys Asher and Noah.
We celebrated the 4th with some of Sarah's friends out at their house.
Before we left town our friend, Jason, let us have 2 bags full of fireworks he couldn't shoot off.
I think Max loved lighting the fireworks as much as the kids loved watching them.
It was a super fun, but late night.
The next day, Friday, we went to the pool with the boys.

We spent Friday night at their house then headed home on Saturday,
but not before touring the State Capitol.

What a fun weekend!
Lots of history making debate over abortion occurred there that week. Glad we got to see where it all went down. Praising God for the stricter laws that were passed, but there is still much to be done.
