Our Tree Blew Down!

We had a freak storm last week that knocked down our tree in the backyard. :(

So dad came over with his new chainsaw.

Rhett hung his pet snake in the tree.

Then filled the chainsaw full of gas. 

Max so enjoyed learning how to use a chainsaw.

The kids helped moved limbs out of the way.

Here's one of all the men at work, Dad on the fence, Max with the chainsaw, and Rhett clearing brush. 

At the end Dad and Rhett were hiding out in the chopped up tree

while Max played with the chainsaw.

Oh how I miss my tree and all the lovely shade it provided.
