On February 22 it iced so no school!!!

While we thought that was fun the best was yet to come a few days later!
On Friday, February 27, school let out at noon due to snow and icy roads! So I slowly drove up there to pick up Kellyn, Rhett, and our carpool friend, Rees. It took me 35 minutes to get there when it usually takes me 12!
Max hid in his camp gear to attack the kids with snowballs.
Bo didn't like it so much so we watched from afar. :)
Being the end of February we thought that was our last snow and it was good one.
But THE BEST SNOW DAY EVER came a few days later on March 5! That's right MARCH! We got snow in MARCH! Heavy snow in MARCH! No school again!! We got like 5 inches of real snow. Snow that sticks!

The snow melted fast (it was above freezing by 1:00), but not before we built our Aggie snowman.
Even though it was quickly turning to muddy slush Rhett continued to build his own little snowmen.
It was a super fun day!
How could you not love Texas weather. It's like a box of chocolates. You never know what you are going to get...or when.
