Monster Jam 2016

Kellyn got the Daddy/Daughter Dance so on February 13, Rhett got the Mother/Son Monster Jam.
I'll be honest I wavered back and forth on if I should go or not down to the last hour. I was so nervous leaving Priscilla for the first time not to mention both babies at the same time which can be rough. I finally decided I needed to go for Rhett. He needed me to chose him so I did and I did not regret it.

I really wanted to take Rhett to this because I wasn't up to going to the Mother/Son Monster Mash that we usually go to every October in Carrollton since at the time I had a 4 week old baby. So I asked him what his favorite thing about that was and he said, "getting candy." Done! So I took him to pick out his Halloween costume at Party City and pick out whatever candy he wanted. He got a lot! Oh well, he would have gotten a lot at the Monster Mash too.
But I still felt like he needed some attention from us so we decided to go to the monster truck rally. Once Max found out there was truck called Max D he got very excited and created a poster on the back of my Valentine poster I had made the day before for Kellyn's party. :)

My dad went with us because we had 4 tickets and Kellyn would rather go to her friend, Addison's, birthday party that same night instead. So my mom and Maw-maw stayed at my house with Bo and Priscilla and put them both to bed which can be tricky. Then at 8:45 my mom had to leave to go pick up Kellyn from the birthday party in Carrollton while Maw-maw stayed home alone in my house hoping both babies would stay asleep. If Priscilla accidentally rolls herself over she wakes up so Maw-maw was nervous because she can't pick her up. And it did happen so when mom got back from getting Kellyn she had to roll Priscilla back to her tummy then she was fine, not a big wake up like Maw-maw described. Kellyn didn't even hear Priscilla crying when she got home.

And of course my dad bought Rhett cotton candy and a snow cone. And he said he hadn't bought Max anything for his birthday and let him pick out something at intermission. He came back with a Max D t-shirt. :) Rhett came back with a Max D truck. My dad is awesome.

We really had a lot of fun and didn't get home until 10:30 that night! Our special middle thoroughly enjoyed himself which means I did too. Although, I think Max may have enjoyed himself even more. It was a great way to celebrate Valentine's Day this year. :)
