At the beginning of the year I signed up to coordinate Kellyn's Valentine's Day party. I mistakenly thought that by then I would be sleeping more and be able to manage things better. Priscilla regressed in her sleeping as did Bo for some reason and only 1 person helped me decorate for this party. I showed up wearing Priscilla because she will scream and cry in her carseat and had Bo strapped in the strolled on the morning of Friday, February 12. I hung most of the decorations with baby strapped to my chest.
I made these pretty and delicious fruit, marshmallow, and brownie kabobs.
I made these cute table decorations with large conversation hearts and glass jars.
I made this poster which I love!
Kellyn posing for a picture and enjoying the party.
(by the way I also signed up to be the class photographer and create shutterfly book at the end of the year for BOTH classes. So I had to dash between parties taking pictures while running Kellyn's. I was 9 months pregnant at the time I signed up and not thinking straight.)
How many hearts can you stack using chopsticks?
We did a Valentine Madlips game which was a huge hit and wrote sweet Valentine's to our parents.
They had to stand up and read their silly Madlips together. They all laughed so hard as they read. :)
Luckily Max was able to attend Rhett's party and take a few pics in there for me. On his way to Rhett's classroom he stopped by Kellyn's classroom to surprise me with roses! When I was teaching he used to always send roses to school. He started doing that way back when I was student teaching in college! He said this was the closest thing to me being in my own classroom. Be still my heart.
This was the only picture Max got of Rhett at his party. :(
Meanwhile back at home...
