What I Don't Tell People About My Life with a Newborn and a Toddler.  This is me right now except I'm not working outside of the home and I have 4 kids not just 2, but still it's the close age gap between these last 2 that make it so hard. Not something I have ever experienced before. "....if I wished all that away then all I would be left with would be perfection."

This is my only baby not born in a hospital, my only baby to not take a pacifier, my only baby not sleeping through the night at 3 months, my only baby to scream bloody murder if she can't see me. All of this is caused me to allow my 2 year old to watch way more t.v. than I would have ever allowed his older siblings to at his age. And yet I love her to pieces anyway. This baby has forced me to change my personal brand of mothering and that's ok. I'm in a different season with different kids and different circumstances for round 2. This article is so eye opening.
