Our First 4th with 4!

Sunday, July 3, we went to my parents house after church.

Maw-maw had fun seeing the babies and they enjoy seeing her too!

We left the bigger 3 over night then came back with Priscilla the afternoon of the 4th to pick them up.

The morning of the 4th of July was surprisingly nice and cool and overcast so while my parents so graciously kept 3 out 4 of the kids we worked for hours cleaning up the front yard and flower beds pulling weeds, trimming shrubs and trees, digging up grass. Then we moved to the garage and pulled everything out, sorted it, trashed it, organized it, and put all back together very neatly. The weather could not have better! Actually cool on the 4th of July! We picked up the kids exhausted both them and us, but Max took Kellyn to watch fireworks (Rhett fell asleep as soon as we got home and could not be woken up) while I stayed home again this year with the younger ones as they slept and I drink wine.
