The Weatherford Peach Festival 2016

My roommate and her family headed back to Houston the morning of July 8 then we headed out to Weatherford to stay at my brother's house for the Peach Festival.
Bo thought it was fun to brush his teeth in Uncle Jacob's bathroom. :)

Priscilla and I were backing the blue in red, white and blue the next morning.

My dad and Bo are ready to go. Just waiting for the bus.

Steel City Pops peach popsicle was a big hit!

The boys had fun winning lots of prizes at the fishing game.

The boys enjoyed riding the train. And Rhett kept going back to win more squeaky inflatable toys. :)

Ice cream break.
Sweet Bo feeding his baby sister.
Our little peach eating a peach at the Peach Festival.

We went home and put the little ones down for naps and eat lunch and peach cobble. My mom was nice enough to stay with them while the rest of us went back with Jacob who rode in the Peach Peddle that morning.

Round 2:
Our big kids are going tall!

Yep another toy.

Hooray! I don't have to wear a baby this round. We enjoyed Peach Juleps and Peach Snow Cones. But our favorite part was the wine tasting.
Headed back with lots of peaches.

Priscilla loves all the peaches! And she looks too cute sitting by them.

And so our time in Weather with Uncle Jacob draws to a close.
It was an exhausting weekend and someone fell asleep within the first 5 minutes of the trip home. :)

Back home:
Check out my new favorite shirt I bought at the Peach Festival!
I made peach oatmeal with peach honey.
Peach shrimp kabobs.

And when your 2 year old asks if we can bake a cake you say YES! Especially when the big kids are at VBS and the baby is napping and you get precious alone time with him. We used the last of our peaches from the peach festival to make peach bread! He had to sample the batter a lot to make sure it was just right. 🍑💙
