Random fun things that happened this month that didn't really need their own separate blog post.
The Bible study I'm in with some friends in the CECPTA continued through the summer. Since all our kids are out of school we had to meet at a park so they could play and we could discuss. At the end of each study we gather the kids and Betsy reads them a book. I've loved this group of ladies and their vulnerability to share their hearts and struggles and encourage me in mine.
Kellyn went to Vacation Bible School for the first time this summer. I chose to send her to Prestonwood Baptist because they were having a dinosaur and creation theme which was perfect right before our trip to Glen Rose. This was taken on the last day when my parents and Maw-maw went with us to pick her up so we could celebrate by having lunch at Mooya Burger around the corner.
My friend Alison W. invited us to go see Rio with them. It was Kellyn's first 3D movie. Kellyn and Caroline had just had a play date the day before and are in swim lessons every day together, but still can't get enough of each other. I was nervous taking Rhett, but Kellyn wanted to go so bad I decided to risk it. He did really well until the last 30 minutes when he wanted to walk around outside. It was a cute movie and parrots.
Rhett acting like acting like a monkey in his monkey towel.
Rhett watched me paint then blow on Kellyn's toenails so he wanted to be helpful too and blow on her nails as well. Sweet boy, blowing on Sissy's toes.
My friend and former college roommate, Courtney is starting her own sewing business. She has 2 boys and wants to make cute things for boys. She made Rhett this adorable Aggie tool belt. Let me know if you would like her to make one for your child. I don't know how much she is charging for them though, but I could find out.
