As I have mentioned before, I love Instagram! So tried to take nearly all our pictures at the zoo using the instagram app. And I'm so glad I did!
Kellyn was our navigator. She loves maps.
We got to see lots of the animals up close!
The zookeepers fed the elephants right in front of us.
Max finally got to feed a giraffe. After this summer's incident at Fossil Rim this was his favorite part.
We all loved feeding the giraffes.
This cheetah was laying right by the glass. Neither kid would get close to it.
Max loved watching the gorilla grab some lettuce and walk around and eat it.
Kellyn's favorite part was the bamboo. She said she had been hoping and wishing she would get to see bamboo and oh she just loves bamboo. Strange child.
I thought this meerkat standing on a termite hill was pretty cool.
Playing like she was hatching out of an egg the Children's Zoo.
Big fish!
Petting pygmy goats. We had mean Spanish goats when I was growing up. But these pygmy goats were so cute and fun.
This camel came up so close to the fence! We left quickly though because we were afraid it was going to spit on us.
We ended the day with a carousel ride.
