I had already planned a play date with my friend with Cecilie and her kids for Wednesday, February 8. I thought about canceling because I was still so shaken up from the wreck on Tuesday, but Cecilie and I don't get to hang out and talk as often as we like so I was worried it could be a long time before we could get our schedules to match up again. She suggested we meet at Going Bonkers because it was pajama day, meaning if you wear your pajamas it is half price. My mom has loaned me her Expedition until we can buy a new car so I went. After playing there for a few hours we went to Chic-fil-a for lunch. It was exactly what I needed the day after such a horrible day. I so enjoy my time and my talks with Cecilie. I miss her and she lives right down the road, but she has 4 kids and it so hard to get together. I hope we get together again soon and make more of a habit of it. Our kids play so well together.
Rhett is fine and does like to tell everyone we were in a car crash and that the police took his car seat out and Sissy's car seat out and that Mommy's neck hurts. :( Sweet boy. God protected him. Even the police officer said he had a heavy, sturdy car seat. It certainly did it's job.
On a sillier note:
Max wore a top hat and tuxedo to the Rick Santorum rally in Plano on Wednesday night. He was so excited that Rick Santorum was coming to Texas.
His being gone allowed for our friend Tom to come over to sell me this gun that Max wanted sooooo bad. I told him we couldn't afford it then Tom called and told him he sold it at a gun show so he had no idea what he was getting for his birthday.
