Family Reunion in Glen Rose

Max's Grandma celebrated her 95th birthday this month so the entire Stinsen family gathered in her honor in Glen Rose, Texas the last weekend in April. We stayed in old houses or cabins at the Country Woods Inn.

Max pulling Rhett and Clay behind the bike. I like to refer to this as the wagon of death. It just seemed like just an unsturdy rig, but the kids loved it.

The men playing croquet in the country while wearing pink shirts.

The boys turned chess pieces into swords.

The Pulaxy River
Kellyn, Abby, and Emma standing in the river.

Kellyn had so much more fun than she thought she would have in swimming in the river.

We found a dead fish in the river. This is the first fish she has ever touched. Usually when I catch a fish she runs away screaming.

I love this picture because it just represents childhood. And Kellyn said she locked her had around Rhett like a seatbelt to keep him safe. Such a good big sister.

Rhett pulled this old wagon around the whole place just gathering nick nacks along the way.

Dancing in the moonlight.

Feeding the bunnies breakfast before we pack up and head home. I still want a bunny, but she seem to live such a sad life always cooped up in a cage.

Once last see saw ride.

We found Kellyn and Abby upstairs playing with old dolls. We went out on the balcony to see as far as we could see.

On our way out of town we stopped to get a pie. We got one last year when we went to Glen Rose with Tommy and Courtney and loved it so much we just couldn't leave town without one. We got half buttermilk and half apple crumble. So delicious!
