Easter Sunday!

The message at church on Easter was exactly what I needed to hear. Our paster, Pete Briscoe, said, "We can either live a filled life or a full life. Meaning we can fill our lives with material items or we can be full with Christ." I think that's whats been bothering to be honest. Having another baby means we won't have the money to buy the stuff I want, the clothes I want, do the things we want, or give our kids what they want. But instead of looking at all the things we won't have I now look at the things we WILL have. We will have 4 kids who love Jesus and don't wear designer clothes and can't be involved in every activity they want, but we WILL have kids who are full with Christ and not filled with stuff. And isn't that our ultimate goal anyways. Entitlement is such a problem in America. Having 4 kids will just make sure that we don't allow our kids to fall into the entitlement trap. Praise God! Instead of looking at all that I was losing and can't have and can't provide for my kids I panicked and forgot to look at all that we CAN do for our kids and all that we will have through Christ who strengthens us.
