Every year our school starts on a Friday. This year was no exception. It's strange, but good at the same time to just ease into it.
We put together fun little teacher gifts in jars for each of their teachers which included nail polish, nail file, candy, safety pins and few other little goodies that would fit.
Unbelievable that we have not 1 but 2 kids in elementary school!
Kellyn started 3rd grade this year and Rhett started KINDERGARTEN!
Kellyn , my darling diva, had to have a dance themed back pack which is impossible to find so I had my friend, Dedra, embroider an image of a dancer and the word dance on the simple black and pink back pack she really wanted. Rhett on the other hand was super easy. We walked into 1 store and he found the Mario back pack with matching lunch box he wanted. Done! Thank you, sir!
Rhett was so excited to get to his class! And he was so kind to oblige his parents with a picture with him on his first day of kindergarten. His teacher is Mrs. Stowers.
Kellyn on the other hand, did not want any pics with us in her classroom and actually shushed us out after get 1 quick pic with her and her teacher, Mrs. Russell.
Then I went back home with just Bo. :( The first day of school was not as joyous for him. I think it dawned on him what had just happened and that they were gone. When we got out of the car I simply asked him to walk inside and he melted down. His first big toddler tantrum. He refused to come inside and laid down at our door step and cried. Poor little guy misses his big brother and sister.
